Since the beginning of KARYBU concept store in 2010 we are customers of the women in Samburu land, central Kenya. And we are really happy to contribute - at least a bit – in generating an income for them.
The women live a tough life – even more in times of harsh drought. An income through beadwork using their incredible bead and colour skills takes a lot of pressure off them.
But beside that, we are really happy to be their customers as their products and work is just fantastic in every aspect: design, quality and charm. They produce for us jewellery, Christmas stars, keyrings and items like bowls and lampshades for the house.
